Hardware Mods

Self explanetory. These mods will physically alter your Xbox 360 for the purpose of either to create an advantage for you in game, or to just look better than your friend's Xbox. Most of these mods will void your warrenty as you may have to open the casing of your Xbox 360 console so BE WARNED.

Hardware mods can be greatly personalised and tweaked to your preferences. See the images below of some rather creative case mods.

These Xbox 360 Case Mods will not enhance performance, but look awesome and will sell for a shedload of cash. Most other hardware mods are much more descrete but will have a much greater affect on your gameplay experience. The most common Xbox 360 Mods include:

• Xbox 360 Rapid Fire Controller (I have one for CoD - invaluable in Hardcore Search & Destroy)
• Lag Switch (I made one for CoD 5 and it works like a charm)
• Adding/Changing the LEDs on your Xbox 360 controller.
• Adding storage capactiy to you Xbox 360
• Flashing your Xbox 360 to allow you to play pirated games (I don't recommend this - very illegal)
• The infamous JTag allowing you to run homebrew applications on you Xbox 360, and run edited games such as the Modern Warefare 2 10th Prestige Hack.
