These mods will directly affect your gaming experience by altering values or adding in commands. In the good old days when Microsoft was still unaware of the modding community, games like Call of Duty 4 were so easy to mod you could atach (bind) commands like "god" and "noclip" to the button of your choice for use in multiplayer. The abuse of such mods forced game developers to take a closer look into their game security to try to stamp out modding on their games.
Current games have none of these exploits avalible to abuse so for now we must settle with glitches in the game (such as elevators or wallrubs) and minor alterations to your gaming profiles. The latter may cause you to recieve a displeased message from Microsoft detailing the number of rules you broke by making your avatar green, lesson learned - it is a BAD idea to head into 1 vs 100 with your Avatar resembling the Hulk.
